Build a Stakeholder Presentation¶
Your slides should support what you say, not act as a transcript you read aloud.
The Narrative Arc (10-15 mins)¶
1. The Hook (1 min) Remind them of the problem. "Last quarter, supply chain delays cost us £500k in penalties."
2. The Vision (2 mins) Show the ultimate goal. "Imagine if the system flagged a likely delay before the ship even left the port. That's what we've built."
3. The Validation (3 mins) Prove it works, using business metrics. "On historical data, this model flags 80% of severe delays. If we had this last year, we would have saved £400k." Include a simple visualisation (e.g., a bar chart, not an ROC curve).
4. The 'Under the Hood' (2 mins) Keep it extremely high-level. "It learns from the last 5 years of weather, port traffic, and supplier history. The number one driver of delays turned out to be heavy rain in Rotterdam." (Use a simple SHAP summary plot here).
5. Next Steps & The Ask (2 mins) "We are ready for a live trial in Region C. We need Marketing to agree on the intervention strategy by Friday."
